Abercrombie & Fitch is returning to Hampton Roads

Clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch is returning to Hampton Roads with a new store planned to open this fall in the Town Center of Virginia Beach.

AH Realty Trust, previously Armada Hoffler, announced the store signed a lease for a recently vacated space on Main Street.

This will bring the Ohio-based brand back to the area since its store closure at MacArthur Center during the pandemic. The American lifestyle retailer, known for previously targeting the “cool kids,” had also operated a Lynnhaven Mall store, which closed in 2008.

AH Realty Trust Chairman, President and CEO Shawn Tibbetts said in a news release that the company is committed to bringing new-to-market concepts and experiences to Town Center.
